Beautifully presented, this LAVISH and ELEGANT Programme is in the style of a 12 Page booklet, which opens out to reveal the changing faces of George in photographs. Some of George's most famous quotes are also featured within the Programme, including: 'Being The Beatles was like a suit that we wore for that period of time, but that isn't us really' - None of us are what we appear to be. Our true nature is looking to re-establish that which is within - All knowing'.. The booklet is held together with an Orange ribbon. There is also a separate four sided Programme showing the IMPRESSIVE Line Up for the 'Concert For George'. Main attractions at this well supported ONE NIGHT Event were Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, Jools Holland, Ringo Starr, plus many many more. The 12 Page Programme is SUPERB example, as is the Line Up programme. The Concert was held as a Tribute to George approximately one year after his passing. It was meticulously planned to ensure that everything was presented to the HIGHEST of Standards to conform with Olivia Harrison's wishes - A very Tasteful item.

please click to view this in a larger scale The Beatles: GAUMONT THEATRE, BRADFORD, LIMITED EDITION, FACSIMILE SIGNED PRINT - OPENING NIGHT OF THE BEATLES FIRST EVER BRITISH TOUR STARTING ON 2 FEBRUARY 1963, ONE OF ONLY 5000 PRINTED FROM THE ORIGINAL NEGATIVE, NICE PIECE AND INTERESTING STORY!! - This is a Numbered, Limited Edition, Photographic Print taken from the Original 1963 Negative of a photo of THE BEATLES taken by Stan Richardson, at the Gaumont Theatre Bradford, who was working as a freelance photographer for the Melody Maker Magazine. Mr Richardson attended the theatre for The Beatles first performance together with a Reporter to cover the show. He was so impressed with The Beatles that he asked them to pose for this photograph. Between shows Richardson processed the negative and produced a large 20" x 16" print. He took it back to the theatre, and gave a smaller copy to the Beatles, who were very pleased and were happy to sign the photograph personally! Mr Richardson states that Brian Epstein then asked him whether he would do some publicity photos for the band, but having experienced problems in getting paid by other bands, he turned the opportunity down! After many years of owning the signed piece, Mr Richardson decided to produce a limited edition of 5,000 of which this print is numbered 130/5000. The overall size of the facsimile signed print is 17" x 22¼" and the picture itself measures 14½" x 19". Although the original signed photo was in black and white, Richardson produced it as a colour image, thereby keeping the original Deep Blue ink of the signatures. As you will see the Beatles signatures are extremely clear. Also accompanying the print are two A4 printed sheets one showing the original details of the venue, and the other giving the story of how the print was produced. This is as near to an Original Set of signatures that could be found anywhere, and certainly a more economical alternative to owning a real set of Beatles signatures, on a fantastic, early, 1963 image!
